Can somebody help me with these medals, opinions on originality and value, I just picked them up today, I know I have a Pilots badge, an EK1, the two at the top are an EK11 from WWI and the other I do not know, The pilots badge is marked "JMML" or it could be an "E" at the end, the EK1 is marked 113 on the pin,non magnetic and looks to be of a single piece construction, no silver marks I can see.
If you need anymore pictures let me know, Gary

Looking at the impressions in the satin in the lid, these medals have always been in there,The two WWII medals show very little wear the EK11 shows some wear and the other one shows little wear. If these aren't original to this case then I would be very surprised, but as I know next to nothing about these then I might very well be surprised. I have some large file size pictures showing much more detail if anybody needs them.
Thanks
Gary

I'm sorry to be the one to have to break the bad news.
The Pilot/Observer is not original, nor is the EK1.

Thanks for the link Joe, time to do more homework. I have to decide whether it's worth finding a genuine P/O badge and EK1 to make this set at least look right.
