I believe this PAnzer SS cap is a reproduction but just to make sure I wanted to run it by you all to get your opionion.

I agree - the whole cap looks bad.

SS Panzer Cap

Note the color of the piping compared to the cap above - it is almost a baby pink color. If it deviates much from that color I would be wary.

Hi I will have to differ in opinion somewhat from my colleagues. I believe that the cap is authentic and not a reproduction, but rather an early period West German Bundeswehr visor. Probably from the period 1948 to 1956. It is definately not a period Third Reich produced visor. cheers, Ryan
