Interior of the tunic shows the waist bands and their metal closure ,collar has a silk band liner and a silk flap piece at the 3 hook front closure of the collar .There are also 3 metal flip clips to fasten a white collar inside the collar , and you can see also some repairs of the liner , including extra blue wool padded liner at the chest area !!

Both upper sleeve liner areas have big size ink markings 16 over a box with upside down letters U.G.I. , which could stand for "Uniform-Garde-Infantrie".

Here now a close-up of the fine " Old Style " large size ribbon bar . Per Rick Lunstroem the ribbons stand for the following medals : 1)Prussian Life Saving Medal. 2) Prussian Red Eagle Order -4th class. 3) Prussian Long Service Medal . And 4)Kaiser Wilhelm I Centenial Medal . The backing on this bar is red wool and it has a long , thick brass pin that goes through 3 loops on the tunic . Hope you like this tunic that I got like 25 years ago when you still could get them at reasonable prices !!! Bernd .
