Lou, Very interesting patch, I've never seen one like it. The words "Feld & Forsthter" also appeared on several badges Baz obtained several years ago. I believe they were worn by members of the polizei that were responsible for patroling the German forests, although Gary's badges had a Weimar eagle and a later 3R eagle with swaz. Couldn't tell you about value but I don't think it can't be that common an item. Here's the link to one of the threads on these badges: http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8470972702...323034196#7323034196

Lou, Wish I could help but I haven't seen anything like it. Not even sure of the era it was made.

fatguy,
this is a post war uniform patch for Feld-and Forsthter in the german country Rheinland-Pfalz.
Feld- and Forsthter are often older, retired policeman, payed by the communities, looking after "law and order". It is the lowest level of a special kind of policeman.
