I have a german or nazi dagger from or before wwII with a orangish handle, the eagle & cross & nazi sign by the handle.
I know nothing about this so if you can help id this, I would be very grateful

Your describtion might sound like an army or 2nd mod. airforce dagger. But for any serious statement there are (detailed at the best) photographs necessary.
You also might search through the forum (Army Navy Luft Daggers) or the "Reference Gallerie" in the opening page of GD.C to find out yourself. For a statement concerning originality for sure detailed pics are necessary. All or at least nearly all III.R. daggers are heavily faked and there are also pure phantasy daggers around.

Since you said cross, it might possibly be a Red Cross Officers dagger. Does it look like this?

My other guesses, as Wotan also said, would be Luftwaffe or Army .

But also as Wotan said, there are many different daggers, fakes, etc. so the best way for us to tell you exactly what you have would be with a photo.

It looks exactly like the red cross one.
Do you have a ball park guess on how much it would be worth? I know it depends on the condition but if I can get some kind of idea, I can go from there.
