Much debated as to pre or post war.
My opinion is they were made for the GI's while the war on the continent was still going on.
Others say they were youth daggers.
With the scabbard my guess is you can get up to $200.

hallo guys. I'm one of those are convinced these were souvenir 'made in naples'.
eric, not exactly swords cut down: that handle style is recalled from the italian degens, moreover when police. probably those handles, coming from some stock, were 'adjusted' for these knives. remember that the most of these are found with the manufacturer 'scuotto naples' on the blade, and you perfectly know that allies entered in naples in october 1943 and they remained in italy for many years....so, scuotto brothers got many years for manufacturing and selling to your GI's a lot of these souvenirs. obviously this is my opinion, knowing that mr. rudy d'angelo had a different theory
