I got the photo this week, I have never seen a woman in SS uniform. Is't real?

There were women in the SS but their uniforms were different. This is probably a studio portrait with the woman wearing her husband's/boyfriend's uniform. I've seen this before. The women in the SS were concentration camp guards for women's camps, helpers similar to Luftwaffe flak and operations rooms, etc.

They worked worked in the death camps also. Here are some wonderful little SS "darlings" at Beslen.

Mwhaaaa, now that I can relate too! Borse, Normally you could understand being stuck in a womens only section of the camp that after a while and with no men you might start looking at other women....but in this case !!! .
