As some of you may recall, last year I was lucky enough to be offered most of someones enamel collection http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/800097573/m/7080046553

Well last week I was contacted again by the collector to see if I wanted the rest of it..... You can imagine my answer.....

They arrived today, as before a few double which will need a new home. If you wish to see more detailed shots of anything before please ask. The yellow & red leaders badges are marked M1/73 so I will automatically add them to Joe's thread on this maker.

Enjoy.

Cheers
Don

All I can say is you lucky dog. It can take years and a lot of gas for the car to collect all of those.

Glad they found a good home.

Cheers,

Congratulations Don. Those items will be joining an already grand collection. Smile
If possible, a detailed shot of the small NSF badge and also the Stenographers badge?

Hi Don,
I'm offered 2 beautiful pins a month ago ( see circles around the badges which I mean ). I 'll meet the dealer this weekend. He asked one E 200 and one e 150; they were in a good condition.
What do you think about the price? IMO it could be a bit less...or?
Cheers,
Benten

Thank you Gentlemen.

Here are the two you requested Joe, the M1/73's are now on their appropriate thread.

Benten,

To be honest, if they are in good condition I would say that they are fair prices. That's about what I'll be charging for mine.

Cheers
Don

Don, I am aware of three versions/grades? of the Stenographers badge. Are there others? I have seen the one you show here with different pinbacks. A square enamel with border example and the non enamled from the link.
None of which I have so I can not contribute.

Joe, Hsken list 11 different NS variants. I'll try to scan the page tomorrow & write them out.

Cheers
Don

Here is the relevant section from Hsken.

First the illustrations (6103j is distorted because of the spine)

Now the list.

b, c & k are not illustrated, with d & e it was the wreaths that were either silver or gold coloured.

With j I don't know how many years were made or if it was only the one.

Sorry Joe, not sure whether you mean Steno's or NSF's? But none of either organisations of mine are marked M1/101

Cheers
Don

Don, thank you for the images and list of Steno badges.
Also for looking for M1/101 sorry for the ambiguity, my M1/101 is a third type NSF members badge. Absent from the good and repro lists. Wink
