Probably Tom Wittmann's "Exploring the Dress Daggers and Swords of the German SS". It has material on both SS & police swords.

Angolia, although a bit dated, is a cornerstone book for saber collectors. Check out Johnsons 2nd most recent set of books. 3 volume series on TR era sabers. Volume 2 covers Luft, SS, Police. I'm not familiar with Wittmans books so I cannot speak to those.

Did Tom Wittman publish any other volumes that pertain to wehrmacht sabers, Luft, army and so on as opposed to just SS degens? If so, are they relatively current or a bit dated?

Thank you,
T

Tom's Luft & Navy books had some sword coverage in them, but not the Army as I recall. Both remain current imo.

Tom's Luft book has some Great stuff on swords. Collectors should spend more on referance!!! This are basic books here all daggers and (sword) collectors should have Tom J. books the Tom W. Books the Angola books (new and old)
For you damascus collectors DAMASCUS STEEL by Manfrd Sachse of germany.Just the basics.... Then you have Kurt Glemser etc...... I saw many of the old Angola books at the sos.
