Hi all. A new season of Canadian Antiques Roadshow airs tonight. I saw an episode last season with a piece of WWI militaria, and recently found the story again on the website. What I'd like to know, is that not a captured German breadbag the expert is calling a "Boer War" pattern?: http://canadianantiquesroadshow.com/story_week_mailbag.htm

We've all seen this show mis-identify and mis-value items. Don't forget the main mission of the ARS is to entertain and not necessarily to educate or identify and certainly not to correctly value.....
