is Zwillingwerken. I placed a "wanted-ad" at a swedish forum, for a nice early HJ with motto (if anyone should have one, feel free to contact me), and a guy turned up and said he had one, made by zwillingwerken... As I stated, this is a maker Ive never heard of before... Is it considered rare? Is it considered fake?

I cant seem to find it in (the otherwise very good and interesting list) I recieved from RussN, and I tried to search the forum for zwillingwerken, but came up with zero hits...

Johan,
You must be talking about J.A.HENCKELS, ZWILLINGSWERK. It is a common maker in my opinion.

Aha! That would explain the situation! As I said, the guy who answered my ad just wrote "zwillingwerken", and I didnt know what to think. But of course you have a big point there. I will ask the guy exactly what the mark says...

That must be the case. I just asked him if it could be that way, I will probably get the answer soon. Thank you. That looks like a nice knife, by the way.
