That is a great photo, the kind of thing you dream about finding at a rummage sale. I put together the following collage for my screen saver, they are not all army saber, but I hope you like it anyway. Joe S

Joe, nice!
Most of the ones pictured are relatively plain hilted Armies. Some are harder to find than others. Either way, most are in Excellent condition.
I enjoy the sabers much more than my daggers because the amount of craftmanship that went into these. Without a doubt more labor intensive than thier wehrmacht dagger counterparts. The handwork on some of the is out of this world. When nice conditioned sabers are displayed properly, they really either enhance a collection, or stand alone as a wonderful collectible artifacts.
Slowly, i've dumped all but a 2nd model Luft, a 1st model Luft, and ACS Heer, an HJ, and an NSKK. I doubt ill add an more daggers to what I have, but the sabers will keep on comin'. I'm in the midst of acquiring a VERY nice Clemen and Jung from a fellow collector/casual seller.
Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Christmas/Hanukkah and a Happy New Year.
Tom
