My favourite TR dagger, you have a stunner there... nice to see a complete rig, don't often see them like this, especially without the hilt-rot... Congrats Red

Thank you gentlemen ! You're right, it is also one of my favorite edged weapon and wouldn't even trade it for the nicest SS EM. The Teno Junior being even much more rarer than any SS dagger.

Danke gentlemen ! It took me almost 3 years before finding such a well conditioned Teno Hewer, but it was well worth the long wait.

Finally got a decent example. This was used VERY little. Most likely due to being owned by a reserve TENO unit member. Still has some original lacquer finish with 100% plating NO bubbling.
Just like Pat it took me many years to find a decent example as these did not hold up well. I also wanted knot and hangers to be original to the dagger. IMO it makes it that much more of a challenge.

Mine is currently in the bank vault, but I do have TWO of the NCO knots. I have been trying to find all six for years. Most will not let a Knot go without the dagger, so it is hard to find them, especially loose. Ron Weinand

Beautiful TeNo Hewer Rig Pat! CONGRATS!
Also, all of the other outstanding TN NCO/EM Hewers and Hangers and Portepees/Troddelen are 'eye candy.'
Ron, I too have been chasing the mystical "TeNo 6" for a LOT of years, and have 3.
NOW, I've learned from Bender / Littlejohn's "Defending the Reich" that we have to find 8 TN Troddelen, not just 6!!! Yikes!! (At, at least $800 - $1,000 each, that is not chump change for ANY collecting.)
Attached is the page from Bender / Littlejohn's "Defending the Reich" which shows all 8 of them. ...Roger can use the Advertizing, buy the book - it is super!!!... (Seems like the RED and the ORANGE got us confused due to color fading & previously poor TeNo documentation.) Now we know - and the hunt goes on!..... Txs, Dave/dblmed
