I have only a couple of photos of a Damascas blade by Alex Coppel. This on a long Imperial. The remainder of the dagger looks good to me but I am concerned over this blade with dedication.
Thank you for any help

Here is the Dedication. These are all I have of the blade.
Has anyone seen this type of blade before.

Jim,
I've seen this type of blade several times before. Most recently a guy on MCF had one with a 3R era Alcoso logo. Only problem was the blade was supposed to be from an Imperial era dagger. I think the rest of the parts were period, not that it was much consolation.

Thanks Billy. I will check MCF and see if this is the same dagger. It sounds like the same configuration. This also might be why I have not received a photo of the makers mark.

Jim, check out the Army daggers book of Wittman page nr. 162-163. Also saw this dedication on a first model Luftwaffe.
