This past weekend we did a Veteran's event called "Reclaiming our heritage" at the VA grounds here in Milwaukee. The building & grounds themselves are very impressive, as they were built right after the Civil War for returning & wounded veterans.

There were many eras represented from pre Revolutionary war to Modern day Desert War. There were vehicles, uniform displays, weapons demonstrations, a CW Skirmish with LOTS of artillery, Many of the Re-enactors are US Veterans, but I was also able to meet many Veterans including a WWII Pathfinder. And I know there was one MOH winner in attendance.

I would highly recommend going to events like this if they happen in your neck of the woods. they are patriotic, educational, and just a lot of fun.

Thanks for the report. And second the suggestion that people should check these event out. I have been doing the San Luis Obispo Historical Arms Society display for years at the Memorial and Veterans Day event in Los Osos CA for years. Last year I spent time talking to a Marine MOH winner and did not know it at the time.
