I had seen this bayonet 4 or 5 years ago a friend had it, I tried to buy it, and he wouldn't sell it, he always told me he would will it to me, today he walked in and said merry x-mas or Thanksgiving whichever and handed me this. Mike

Very Nice late war piece!!Your friend has given you a very special gift.It was'nt about the money. If your friend is elderly or in poor health,Be sure to spend some extra time with him.Wipe the metal parts down with some good quality gun oil to help prevent rust and enjoy!! Smile Best wishes Geoff.

OOPS! I believe this a last ditch Type 30 bayonet made by Toyada Jidoshoki Seisakusho."Toyada Automatic Loom Works Ltd."Under Nagoya Arsenal supervision. You can tell by the materials and quality,Things were not going well at the time it was made.Hope this helps.Geoff.

Yes I thought it was very nice of him to give it, to me instead of selling it, he also has a ww1 german lionhead sword and a model 1863 civil war sword. Mike
