I have spoken with him, he seems like a nice fellow. He aquired a large, advanced collection from a family member who died and has been actively researching.
He has been active on MCF.

Long time no see, yes? Apologies.
I did in fact send ya a couple emails but received no reply...perhaps they bounced.
Indeed, trolling yes, not so much for offers, but knowledge...on a mission, as stated trying to wrap my head around this large collection with intent of knowing what I have in-hand...before I begin selling items off. Allot to absorb, and taken a long time...still learning...
As Bob L. stated, I have been spending most of my (forum) time lately on MCF. (thanks for ratting me out Bob, lol, thanks for the kindly mention)
Not to disparage this forum in any way. Being the "non-collector" I am...I have no sense of belonging so much anywhere I go...just seems a little more populated, and a matter of personal preference...it's much easier on the eyes spending long hours poking/reading posts with the darker theme. Add that I have been studying/posting much more than edged weapons.
I am not one for factional allegiances. I've observed loyalties in particular forums over others, but that's not my trip...in truth I have found great folks in this almost everywhere I have been, no exception here. Also observed politics and drama I assume steer clear of in all. I just landed here first, and segued over yonder among other places. This has turned out to be a far greater odyssey than I first imagined...
Anyway, I have not forgotten and in fact still have the item you where interested in...just begun taking offers and gearing up to begin selling some items. Been posting some swords past few days. Send me another email if yours has changed...hitting reply should have worked...not like I typo'd your email addy?
