August made a long journey over the pond and found a new home. I think he likes it there. But he missed his dog. So it had to follow him. Big Grin

Justinuswerk is not that uncommon. I would say middle of the rarity scale. Looks like the condition more than makes up for rarity. Nice blade.

What a great thread. I'm not a SA collector but I love the different TM's.

Today I picked up a "Ho" marked SA. I'll try to post some pics tonight. Until then, Any 411 on rarity of a C.Eppenstein - Sohne/Solingen. Gau mark "Ho"??? I wish I could say that it hasn't been messed with..but there are a few scratches on the pommel nut, also a few "chips" of wood missing. Anyway, Thanks in advance for your comment. The tang has an "A" over the # "24" Inside are the letters, "E" and "W". Cheers, Pauli

Thanks guys! Smile I am/was concerned about the cross grain though, is this typical? (better pics may be needed?) anyway, This blade fits "me" better than the "Pack", I gave away on Fathers day. A tad bit "saltier"... better matched to my collection. Cheers, Pauli

The crossgrain looks OK.

I have always wondered what that trademark was ...

1. Log on fire
2. Headdress with wings and horns.
3. A bratwurst catching fire on Mike McAlvanah's grill Big Grin

Well it couldn't be the brats because I like them so much I eat them frozen(much faster than grilling), so it has to be #2-Maybe we should ask Skyline Drive-he'd probably tell you it was 2 satyrs on fire-MJM

This is my favorite among all the SA makers(BISMARCK) and I`m on the lookout for one of these, so if anyone knows about one for sale please let me know.
