I looked through all the postings so far and haven't seen the trademark that is on the SA Dagger that I have. So, here it is. Any idea of it's rarity? Thanks, CHUCK 3 Pictures Attached

Hello All, this a great reference thread. I just went through all 8 pages and did'nt see these three makers, so I will add them. Not particularly rare, but neat nonetheless! Cool Regards, Leipzig

While people ask me all the time "What is THE rarest SA?", I've never been prepared to answer until now. I can get it down to the rarest TWO- so, in alphabetical order they are- OTTO LINDER and ARTUR MELCHER. Amen -Mike

Mikey,

Like a true Irishman, it's tough to nail you down to a specific answer on such a philisophical question. I think this is as good as it's gonna get Smile

Because this topic only refers to the EARLY SAs, maker marked with no RZMs or Transitionals, I have erased several pics just showing inappropriate types. Mike

Get on them, Mike. Those "inappropriate posters" need to be watched.

As to rarity, there is one even rarer.

Anyone ??

Regarding the Boker- people have done this before- take a pic of the front of a normal SA, then switch a Boker SS blade into a SA handle and take a pic of the reverse. Of course they will never bring it to a show or allow examination. Mike
