What are the initials in the logo, are they "GS"? From some experience with bayonets, I've seen this term as a generic marking for Solingen produced blades not necessarily attributed to anh specific manufacturer. The term "Garantie Solingen" is simply means that Solingen was where the piece was produced, which isn't a stretch since most of the blade producers were located in Solingen. Never seen that marking before but this doesn't mean it's bad by any means. Russ may recognize the logo.

I know this is over a decade in replying, but to me, this looks like Garantie Solingen who was a distributor in Solingen. Very interesting piece!
