Roll EyesHi gang,I have a few questions about HJ Knives.Were the RZM and the motto ever on the same side?I have a RZM 7/2(Voos).The diamond has a silve back behind the Swas.The HJ's I have seen all have Gold back grouds.All info. welcome.I'll post the pix tonight.Thanks again Dutchman.

The only ones I've seen with motto and mark on the same side were repros. Russ will know Wink

Roll EyesWell done STAN its definately a copy. The 7 in the date 1937 should be WITHOUT a slash through the middle as well.

Well known fake design, motto and RZM should never reside on the same side.

The one pictured here is, in deed, a fake. HOWEVER M7/3 1936 Kuno Ritter DID produce HJ Knives with motto and RZM mark on the obverse. This is the only firm that I am aware of that had the RZM markings on the obverse.
For a photo of one of these knives, see my NPEA book on page 132.
The RZM marks were added to in stock inventory of Kuno Ritter when the order for the manufacturer to use the RZM markings was issued.
