I`m not a model collector but I saw this today & just couldn`t resist. Built from scratch & has twin electric motors. Been in the water just once, a long time ago. 30 inches long & I thought it was quite impressive. It needs servo`s fitting & an RC unit to work again but I will only have it for display I think. The guy that built it clearly put in a lot of time.
All it needs is a small war flag (he couldn`t get one).
I`ll let the pics speak for themselves, hope you like it.

Very nice! Just the thing to chase down the kiddies sailboats in the pond at the park.

Now that is nice! I have been contemplating the purchase of a hand built wood and metal Bismark In approx. 5 to 6 foot length for display. Not easy to find old models any more.

Thanks Ed, you`re right it is not often that we see these any more. i think people are just too busy to find that kind of time these days. I should go for that Bismarck if i were you or you might regret it. Mind you 6ft is some model eh. you`re not going to be playing with that in the bath
