Rich,

I'm not sure if I will sell it. It has been offerd to me for a trade. I know very little about the gorgets.

On the bigger backside "clamp" you can see a hard to read metal marking
"RZM-Logo" + "M1/128"

Are these "rare"?

Hmmm...
In my opinion, this one has a few things that bother me about it:

First off the RZM mark should NOT be there. They had no control of any Army regalia. The ones I have seen wera all CE JUNKER marked.

The ones I have seen all had an adjustable 'stepped' hook side. The backing material looks to be the wrong color, and the links look too flat. also the center hole in the one link looks to have been added.

This one was quite ratty, but shows what I am talking about with the hooks:

You are right! This is a total FAKE! Why, the links should have the eagle on both sides, per Bill Shea..... This is the guy selling ultra rare helemts on ebay for no reserve and privet auctions.

Buyers beware!

That was one of the famous goose-neck eagle repros. Dates from the 1970s I think.
