Pat, I looked in Gary Wilkins book on Headgear and it wasn't in there. Hopefully someone will know. Great visor hat.

Thank you Raymond. There seems to be written the letters "L" over the "N" ? Perhaps a very small cottage firm ? Thing I like best about this visor, is the silvered eagle and wreath. The have turned into a nice rich patina that you won't find on an aluminum type. They are also mseldom accountered.

I like the early silvered insignia also. The way it ages it's very pleasent to look at.

Hello, Pat! If Robert is correct, the Z and N stands for "ZIS" will "NEVER" be revealed! Great looking visor! Regards, Leipzig

Thanks Paul. Perhaps, just a small headgear shop that I'm sure were around during the TR era.

I suspect it is the hatmaker company of Neumann and Zeymer from Berlin.
