Ron,
If you are thinking of buying that dagger, I would hesitate if I were you. It has been very very well cleaned. Also, the scabbard looks like it might have been refinished. This might just be the pictures, but I would ask for more pictures from the seller. While you are at it, ask for pictures of the crossgrain on the front of the blade.

Pictures are decieving. Shouldn't be judged by these as they don't do it justice! By the way, I have had it for years. Ron
