Not sure if I should post here or in the Belt Buckle page, but I thought you guys might be more interested in Imperial unit marks.
These are four Saxon Army enlisted men's belt buckles all marked on the edge.
The first one is made by G. H. Osang and unit marked: 177.R.2.K.1

Gercolctor, A very nice collection of Saxon buckles, thanks for sharing them. Would you by any chance have an officer's example that you could show us? The motto, "Providentiae Memor," "Be mindful of divine guidance or providence." Would that be a fair translation? Hope you'll post more when you have time. Bill

I do not have a Saxon officer's model, but wish that I did.
I have one other enlisted buckle. I like these because of the unit markings, the manufacturer's name and often the date.
Here is the reverse
