The orange filter on the photo's gives it a strange look and tries to hide some red flags: the rivets are wrong and the (bad) makersmarck on the motto side qualifies it as postwar in my opinion.

I would certainly pass on this one.

I agree with Herr Mann. The fuzzy pic. of the blade etch is especially questionable. Even though it is blurry, it looks like it is stamped rather than etched in the way that it reflects light. Maker mark is wrong (as far as I understand the HJ configuration).
Considering how "well" these have been faked and the PERFECT condition of this one (which you almost never see (especially in an early knife w/ motto)) I would steer clear as well.

At first i had the self thougts as Herr Mann , but with the second look it can be that the dagger is complete restored .I think the dagger is good , perhaps Russ can talk clearly .
