Like many members here I have been using the free version of AVG to protect my computer from viruses for many years.I just received notification that support for AVG 7.1(The free version) will be discontinued as of Jan 15 and that there is a free replacement version 7.5. However when I try to figure out how to load the replacement(7.5) I find the procedure is well concealed in the AVG blurb where they obviously want you to go to the chargable version. Has anyone figured out how to wade thru this and load the new free version 7.5? Jim

Save yourself the grief...uninstall it and install AVAST!... Link: FREE AVAST! ANTIVIRUS I found it to be far more efficient than AVG and it updates itself daily.
