What's the correct method to attache a knot on a gouv. dagger? Thanks for all answer.

There were various methods. This one was on my dagger and appears original to the piece as the portepee has the shape of the method of wrap. The portepee has the smaller acorn correct for the GO dagger but seldom seen.
