Can anyone please give me a translation on these SS rank entries for 1941 and 1943. Thanks for any help.

For U´Stf the entry is "Reichs-sicherh. H-amt" which means Reichssicherheitshauptamt.
The two entries below (in the region of Staf and Gruf, but I think these entries do not have anything to do with the rank, are VERY DELICATE Wink):
(at Staf):"Erm.Verf (lt.Meldg.v. 29.7.43 GrdÜbertrtg.d.RStVO.
(at Gruf): Ermittlungsverf. 4.2.41/ Gr. Überschr.d. Höchstgeschw.
abgeschlossen 17.9.41

Both are DELICATE Wink entries because of preliminary proceedings 1.) report from 29.7.43 about violation of the Reichs-road-traffic-decree and 2.) 4.2.41 because of exceeding speed limit (!!!! Big Grin) and the proceedings were finished on 17.9.41.
This officer seems having been quite fast Big Grin.

Wotan,
Thank you for these translations. What you say makes perfect sense, as both of these traffic violations are covered in his SS officer's file.

The violations themselves are on cablegram sheets, and are readable, but I didn't connect the violations to these handwritten entries.

One violation was for speeding, and the other was for driving at night with his headlights off.

He was rather "highly connected" and neither violation seems to have amounted to much.

One of them was "quashed" by the legal department of RSHA.

The other resulted in only a mild written reprimand.

Regards.

Glad I could help. I really wondered myself seeing these entries in one of the cover sheats of a personal file. Funny but no doubt period entries. As you also could proof by the additional papers in the file.
I have answered your PM too.
