I also picked up a early dark blue officers visor. Yesterday was a great day.

A dealer I know has another early dark blue visor but with the later style insignia. Depending on the price ,and if he still has it, I may pick that one up next time I see him. I also have a pair of pants stored away that I'll try and dig out.

This is a great thread with some really rare stuff. I had a question for the railway experts. A co-worker of mine brought in a collar tab his grandfather brought back and i don't see one like it on here, but it appears to be railway. It is a black tab with what O think is yellow and black two tone border. It has medal insignia on it including the double winged wheel, a swastika below that and leaves at the bottom, all in metal. Could this be an officer tab? or early war? I will try to get a pic of it but thought it might spur someones memory Harry

Harry,
Your collar tab sounds like a railway worker as opposed to Railway Police.

ORPO, It kind of looks like this one in my next post but the insignias are metal attached to the tab and the tab is long for vertical wear not horizontal. Thanks for help. Harry
