Skyline is making a valid point. Displays often communicate more than the artifacts themselves. Displaying is not neutral. Some self-examination and reflection on this may be useful

Gustavo I do understand what your meaning is. If peoples dont like a platic skull, i cant now what folk like here on this forum. I have sent mail to DAVE HOHAUS and tell him too delete the pictures i put in. ( i hope you will do ) I collect daggers used by Germans and other types of daggers. My stands is only for private. I host the pics up for show to other collectors here. But this will be my last picture for long time here on GDF. I have no time to sit on my PC to read and reply comments for a singel head skull. The topic is about ss daggers ! There is many thing i dont like too , but i keep my mouth shut. That is the best, have i found out. Have a nice weekend folks. Best Regards Lh 600

I agree with you LH. Its to bad that a good thread should be compromised by a lame discussion about a personal display. Like you said, this is about SS-daggers and not about sculls. Keep up posting your beautys my friend.
Regards Trond.

I think this blew out of proportions... Maybe parts of this thread would be better of in the "Collectors Showcase" part. Best regards,

Hi LH600.
What a beautiful display and mint conditioned daggers.
We see so much polished and "messed with" daggers that it is truly refreshing to see such a collection.
Do you have the Norwegion daggers?
I would love to see those.
Jim

What about more Klaas Carlos Here a nice orginal SS Dagger M33 with SS number 137(III) 003 on the crossguard & Scabbard. I have not find the name behind that number yet. Ross & Raymond dont find it in the list. But in the future im hope it showns up for me If someone having any info , please PM me . Dagger and Scabbard have matching numbers. I don't believe that the Pommel nut has ever been removed. The number on the dagger is 137 (III) 003 and on the scabbard it is 137003. The lower crossguard and the scabbard throat are Jeweler engraved "137003" Again all the fits are there. This has never been apart since the day it left the factory. The scabbard and blade have always been together as evidenced by the engraving. The eagle is a correct nickel version and the runes have 100% of enamel. There is 99% period repainted surface intact to the scabbard. No dents to the body This thing all fits together nice with all the angles and radii matching. The blade is a beauty and all the fine crossgrain still remains. Perfect point is intact. Here some shots taken today. I have to say many thanks to Paul Hogle at the Lakesidetrader for all help bringing this dagger into my SS collection . Thanks Paul` Best Regards Lh 600
