Did the Border Guards(for lack of a better word right now) have their own dagger?And if they did,would it have looked like a Heer dagger,but with a green leather covered grip?

Hi Rich.

We have discussed the Army daggers with the leather grips before.

I do not recall any conclusion that these were border guards. I do remember specualtion that they were late customs daggers?

Does any of this ring a bell.
