Got this photo recently: Who are these men ? I thought it could be R�hm with his scarface, standing in front. Any ideas ? Robert

Hi Robert, seams more to be Gauleiter Wagner, could be matsh with the Hochland group "Edelweis" on the kepi.

yep. Think You are right. Wagner also had a "Schmiss" and R�hm was more fat.

It certainly looks like Wagner, but why would he be wearing a Hochland SA kepi? If it is him it could possibly be an early PL kepi I suppose. Does the picture have a date Robert? I suspect that it shows an SA leader who bears a resemblance to Gauleiter Wagner. Derek

The man in question is without any doubt Adolf Wagner, who was an Ehrenf�hrer of Gruppe Hochland.
The three men from behind I think are: Hans-Georg Hofmann (L) , Wilhelm Helfer (M) and G�nther von Obernitz.
The picture I think is from '32 or early '33 as the SA men don't have shoulderboards or coloured bands on the kepi's.
