Just picked up a fantastic paratrooper ensemble from a veteran. Jump jacket, jump pants, dress uniform, paratrooper switch blade knife, dog tags, purple heart, mess hall Thanksgiving menu, memory book, letter home, personal bible, wallet with foreign currency and photos, etc. Anyone have any interest in this kind of material? Granted Airborne material may not bring in the big bucks like German militaria but to say there is no interest would be misleading. There is a big community of US collectors. Great grouping John.

Wow, what a grouping. That is a very nice complete group.
Airborne & SS stuff is my double edged sword as to why my wallet is always empty. It seems if there are no cufftitles or tabs, some one has a AB grouping for sale.

Original jump jackets and pants are like rocking horse manure in my experience I had a jacket back in the eighties put it out at a show as open to offers sold it within the hour for �110 and everybody thought I had been madwhen I gave �30 for it as it was sized for a very verically challenged individual.
There are collectors who would love to have that grouping petty you didnt get the boots as well
