I would like to ask the experienced collectors what thier experience is with the 6 vs 7 stranded cufftitles. I know that as begining collector I was told "Stick to seven strands". In going through a few of my pieces I noticed that one of my "Das Reich" cuffbands is six stranded while the other is seven, both appear to have been sewn on unifoms and both have similar (what I consider correct) style of letter embroidery. What do the experienced guys say about the 6 stranded ones? Thanks!

There are original 6 strand cufftitles out. I just got one tunic removed cuffband what got 6 strands and the embroidery & material was what I expect to see on an original titles. For book references I would reccoment the Ulric of England cufftitle books for further pictured details. PS: there are also 5-6 strand titles out, and also we know about the different used material for the strands, like cellon etc.

Hi Jerry, the problem with a 6 strand cuff title is when you go to sell it. Many people shy away from them.
