Here's a knife I've had for a while, I don't collect knives (German helmet are my thing) but had to have this one when it turned up. The thing is I have lost touch with values, could anyone give me a ball park figure on what this could be worth? Thanks Tim.

If I were you, I would find a way to get those runners off that blade! Eek That knife sure looks nice!

Dont touch the blade! It is nice and only sparkling because of the light. IMO you cant (and dont need) to improve anything on this blade without making it looking less good. Just my opinion due to the fragile etching.
Very very nice dagger you have, congratulations. I love especially those bagged ones!

Wotan, you're right it's only showing the runner marks because of the angle of the lighting, I will try and get some better pics.

I love seeing that dagger, if it ever needs to turn into a helmet please let me know. Wink

I would like to reunite it with its family

I have seen them priced at $1500 to $2500 but as to what they will actually bring I do not know. I have turned down $2200 for a PS in similar condition. I would not store the dagger in the scabbard. Russ
