Don't waste your time if HE thinks it is real! It sure looks neat, but it is worth less than $100. You might be able to have some fun with that one if you can get your hands on it for cheap!

I would probably pay more than $100 for it! Come on even for a repro, I respect how much effort went into making something like this. Nice artificial Damascus and the raised, gold lettering. I might even go $200!

It does look nice, and if you want it bad enough, I can see your thinking. Still though, you can pick up a less-than-perfect original RZM piece for $1000 or less. I still see them from time to time go for that. You would still have the costs of assembling it into a displayable dagger though. I have seen a few of these, complete daggers, sold "as repro" for less than $200 in the past. I can't say if they were as nice as the blade you are looking at though. It is just that when the word "repro" comes up, it gets us collectors all shaken up and cranky.

Just out of interest, does this one have the Eickorn mark? Most of the fake Eicks I've seen have the dot on the Himmler "i", so easy to spot... The fake Horsters and E-Packs don't seem to have it from what I've seen???, even easier to spot tho

Hey Red, The pics I posted are the only ones I have! You can easily see the "dot" on the period in Himmler in the second picture. I don't have a pic of the maker mark, but I am sure it is Eickhorn! 3FL

Hey Red, I asked the guy who has this if there were a maker mark on the blade and he told me there is none! Pretty Strange on a blade of this purported quality, even if it is a repro!
