I just got this great looking Security Service Armband . It is shown in Brain Davis's book " Badges and Insignia of the 3rd Reich " on Plate 35 , Item 2 :"Worn by members of the Security and Administrative Services . Introduced during Dec . 1941 "

The green linen band is 1-3/4 inches wide by 16-3/4 inches long .

Bernd..... The Arm Band is in Superb Condition & the construction
is just about Flawless! What a Great Find to start off 2008!

I've seen Photos of the more common 'similar' Printed Version - but not one of your Example. With such a fine construction, I'd guess that it was of the pre-war / early war time frame of issuance.

Hopefully a Photo will be found and shown. ..... Txs, Dave/dblmed
