Hi Robert,
Can only recommend doing a search on WAF.
I know it was enough to put me off one Craig had
last year."Real,Fake,or a real fake!!
Maybe try the Hitlerjugend web site also.
Cheers

Yes,I am.I am partner in UK
Co.,Was with Texas Insts.
I know Mildenhall/Lakenheath well.
Still busy.Was a Member at Rod/Gun Club.
All stopped now.Still see lots of "Geeks"
hanging around perimeter fence taking pics/
numbers.Was also at Chicksands???
Stick with WAF for answer. Its early here
yet.
Hitlerjugend.net I think is site.
Some HJ knowledgable people on there.
Good luck.

Hi Rbt.
M,hall is MATS.L,heath Fighter Bombers.
As you know Bases are side by side using same runways.Villages not changed I,m sure since your
time but traffic way down as most traffic goes to Frankfurt and Turkey even Spain.Since 9/11
heavily guarded armed gates. Not like the old days when you could almost walk in.
Alconburys (A10) now closed.Molesworth Tankers still going but the "BOMB"
is long gone.Chicksands,"The American Spy Base" Security Wing closed.
Still some stuff to be picked up at Bury St.but now in Shops, and exspensive junk.
Cheers.Hope you have luck with the HJ.

Sorry it's a fake!
Manion's offered several very good fakes of HJ insignias, about a week ago, including a couple identical to this one.
May I remind that those items, so far at least, have no official/original regulation found. They are, at best, fantasy items.

Is that so?
May be you can explain why manion's were selling those as repros.

As is the case with many of these HJ badges, a period photo of one in wear would be great to see.

manions may have been selling fakes the fact remains this is not a fantasy badge but taken from a real host. I'll eat crow on this particular one if it is from that lot .

Hello Geflogschaft.
Yes, that would be very good, but even more important IMHO is to find the original regulation for those little badges.

CIVIL?! Did I say something I shouldn't?
All I am saying is that ALL ITEMS with unknown or non existing regulation should be regarded as fantasy, fakes or repros for the most obvious reasons.
As for the pictures from the first and third items you are right, sorry about that, my mistake. Bellow are the pictures of TWO more fakes I meant before.
Thanks.

It is a tinnie an event badge and nothing more from what I can gather so far so there will be no regualations just handed out to people who attended the event. I will contact Mr Tieste and see if first he has one in his pers collection and any further info on it.

Hello,
Dennys,I think there are quite a few items that have not been found to exist in pictures. I don't think I would discount all items not yet identified from pictures. Although I do think that these enamelled Hochland Lager badges are fantasy. Here is a link to a thread on WAF regarding them. I'm sure there are more but I didn't have the time to go thru them all.
