This is a well known wartime pattern. One of the 'cooler' looking skulls. Kind of hard to see good with the patina on it [don't clean!] but from the photos it looks like a good one... Value? thats a hard one,,anywhere between $100. and $400., sorry [to many variables] but that as close as I can pin down. Maybe some of the other members can give some price spreads from the area where they live.. Nice ring!

Looked good to me after I lightened the photos up. I don't recall ever seeing one marked Alpacca.

It looks like there are some 'dots' on the inside band, post #3..
I took the photo and will play around with it and see if I can make a better view of it and post here later..
