This is my one and only stein.Picked it up at a tag sale on L.I.N.Y. about 5yrs ago cost was $80.Often see the "Regimental"Type steins with all the names etc. but I do know there are many fakes out there,so this is my one and only. Cool

very nice military stein Ed...it is not a true regmental...but NOT a repro either...since it does not have a name or garrison town is it not considered a "Reservisten" krug...but it was made turn of the Century I guess...as of the year 1900 the germans were required to stamp their steins with Germany...if is has some proofmarks would you please show them...this could very well be a Mettlach stein...the Cadilac of beersteins...very nice and obviously made for the 88 regiment(?) regards...Roland.

Indeed a nice stein
