This guy contacts you buys a few items using Paypal. Then hits you for $300 or $400 purchase using Paypal. The deal goes through and you ship. Then he goes back to Paypal and says it was an unauthorized payment and Paypal reverses the tranaction and you are out the money. You can contact the guy all you want and he just lies. Goes by a couple of differnt E-mails but the manin one is linked to his Paypal account and that is steadbonnett@intergate.com. That the one thats on the Paypal payment. The name on the account is Jennie Bob****. He will also send you messages from kilroy2@intergate.com. What is really neat is he dosen't even care. He also screwed Chip Gambino. If anybody knows who this guys real name is I would appreciate an E-mail.

I have not gone through them all but it shows he is registered on MCF and Axis forum. This probably suggest he is here too!, Here is another link using the above mail selling a pistol > PISTOL. There are sites online that if you pay a small fee they can trace e-mails to location. My suggestion would be to contact this persons isp directly "domain-admin@trip.net" and report the fraud/s. It also shows he has been using this e-mail since Feb 2005!.

Jees, this guy is truly unbelievable, read the axis forum link for the different aliases and e-mails this joker uses, it might also be worth Vern checking the registered e-mails on this site against that list to see if he is registered here. He had the front to refund somebody from axis forum after the heat got too hot, THEN CANCELLED THE PAYPAL AGAIN for faulty goods!. This S.O.B. needs catching. Notice that most off his e-mails are from the same ISP, that is his downfall. We need everybody and anybody to e-mail the admin at the above link to report the fraud and quote all of the e-mails listed below >

This event plus some other recent events got me to thinking if there was anything that could be collectivery done on GDC to mitigate these type of problems with scammers.
I know from past discussions; It's unlikey we'll be able to set up a ,by name and location, list of bad sellers for many reasons.
Alternatively; Would the site Administration set up a seperate Forum with the following information permanentely available and in one place?

*Warning signs to look for before you even bid on something. Dave H. and others have created a list of items in the past on this subject.

*Tools that are available such as the ones Degens listed above. I for one had no idea there was a tool to track email ids.

*Recommended procedures to follow if you have been scammed. Many of us know effective procedures that will work to get results here.

I know a lot of this information is already available here but I think it would be a real benefit to pull it all together in one place.
I believe that if this had beeen done years ago the scammer that preyed on Grumpy,British Free Corps Mann,myself and others would have not been successful.

I'm glad Gailen got his money and I hope others do, too. I wonder if the buyers weren't monitoring the threads here and decided to pay to avoid unpleasantness. They still have done their damage in the past. I joined a lawsuit against PayPal because of them and should be receiving some compensation in the near future. It is scary, however, they are continuing to operate. There can't be that many sellers, buyers and collectors in Wolverine. I hope not, because these jerks have given the town a bad name among collectors. As is typical, they frequently change email addresses, eBay identifiers, PayPal identifiers, etc. That makes it harder to identify and track them. By the way, their last name is BAB****.

Would someone explain why the full last name won't come up on the forum. We are talking facts, not opinions. It seems members and others should be provided with the name to help avoid future problems with these folks. They ripped me off, plain and simple, and I will gladly testify to that under oath or otherwise. As noted in another thread, I made a formal complaint to the US Postal Inspectors and PayPal about them. First you take a C, then an O, then a another C, followed by a K. That finishes the name up. That spells BAB****. Maybe because it's a dirty word?!

I sent him copies of every thread that was posted. So, There is no wondering about if he saw it or not.
