EVERY 3RD REICH BUGLE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED HAS THE INSIGNIA EMBOSSED, NOT ADDED AS A SEPERATE PIECE. FROM THE IMAGES POSTED, IT WOULD NOT BE SOMETHING I WOULD ADD TO MY COLLECTIO.

The bugle posted above is not even close to an original but there are examples of bugles with the insignia affixed as a separate piece. Here is an example of an RZM issue bugle I once owned with an early eagle.

Thank you for the information on the seperately affixed eagles. I have seen one other poorly faked bugle such as the one that started this thread. Another method for recycling fake cap eagles on little tin horns
I am familiar with the bugle you used to own. It is a fine example and has found a very good home.
