Please post your examples here. Year of introduction, 1939. --dj--Joe My unmarked zinc/alloy example, gold paint finish, (brenlac)? Obverse. (The style looks like badges that have been attributed to K&Q.

Here are my Minesweeper and U-Boat badges. It is the very same U-Boat badge which Michael Tucker has pictured on 260-261 of German Combat Badges of The Third Reich. Sorry about the "nasty" pointy object cluttering up the photo! I also have a beautiful Submarine Combat Clasp coming and will post pictures when it has arrived. ~ Ian

Ian, thanks. Those pointy objects make nice accent pieces for badges. Darn nice display. I traded off my Navy pointy object for badges many, many years back. (It was pretty banged up). Been biding my time till another comes into the fold. Off to look at pages 260-261. --dj--Joe

Here is my French made Bacqueville badge. I know there is a lot of controversy on the badges but a lot say they think they were war time produced. SSman

Updating the info on my badge. Now it appears to be attributed to S&L. Learn as we go.
