JUST PICKED UP A SA W/SS VERTICAL HANGER. BLADE IS MAKER MARKED; HUGO KOLLER SOLINGEN in circle surrounding a eagle that is holding what looks like a knife in each talon. How common/rare is this maker? thanks, tom

The McSARR is a list compiled by the famous Dr. Mike McAlvanah, a legendary collector of SA daggers who is also the Moderator of the SA Dagger Forum. The list has been compiled from his notes of over twenty-five years and has involved consumption of vital national resources, mostly high quality rum . Yes, He will be selling it at SOS. Dave

In excellent condition they are not too common. There are a lot of rough ones out there. Mark

Thomas,
Hugo Koller is quite rare and is an attractive maker mark that plenty of collectors are chasing...post some pics....is it an SS vertical or a dark brown SA vertical ?

This is the SA or NSKK dagger showing the trademark Hugo Koller. Blade is very nice w/just a couple very teeny nicks to one edge. Also the black hanger is D.R.G.M. RZM M5/28 0 or C marked.
