An uniform for an Obergruppenführer of the SS and General of Police.
Version after 1942 with green, gold embroidered collar patches. The tunic is of heavy, field grey uniform cloth, with a gold embroidered sleeve eagle, gold/silver shoulder boards with two rank stars, golden buttons, and an SS insignia embroidered in silver beneath the left breast pocket. Numerous medal loops. It comes with matching dark green breeches with broad light green leg stripes. The front of the tunic is in very good condition, there is minor moth damage on the back, the trousers are undamaged.
There is also a test report from the Hans E. Fleiger Laboratory for Textile Testing dated 2000. There are corresponding labels with seals on tunic and trousers.
Extremely rare uniform for a high-ranking SS-Leader and Police General.

Interesting...I can't remember if this one has been discussed before, does anyone else recall?
Is this General d. Polizei tunic include a name tag, is there a tailor label, is it dated be chance, are there more pictures available?

I dont know what name is in it.
But i do remember a tunic like this being discussed on my forum about a year ago.
I think this tunic is the same one that pops up every 1-2 years.
hermann historica has it this time.

It is an interesting outfit. I presume the testing was to confirm wartime style cloth, right? The tunic itself may even be original but it gives me pause.
I agree with Gary that the collar tabs are not proper. Odd embroidery and the pips are off center among other things. These tabs look rather like the German made fake Pol General insignia with the rubber stamp logo on the back. My other immediate concerns would by why does it have a green collar and a gold Wehrmacht eagle? I think whoever made this has been looking at photographs of Kurt Daluege.
This one is not for me.

I caught the tabs myself.
I'm about 95% positive that this is the same tunic that has been on ebay, epier, manions, now it's in Europe
