Just came across this Hammesfahr, not minty, but honest one, even if the scabbard is period repainted (I don't care this time). Only thing that doesn't allow me to sleep at night is: who was the SS man #46232 ???? After being disappointed with "no matching records" few times, I do hope this time it was an officer who owned the dagger. Thanks in advance, guys.

It belonged to someone not in the SS-Dienstalterslistes whose identity is currently unknown. Closest I have in my database is 46 234. Regards, Ross Kelbaugh www.ssdaggers.com
