hi
Quite a time ago I intended to start a dagger collection and purchased these. I have long since realized that I cannot really afford to sustain a good collection and have decided to concentrate my collecting field elsewhere. Before I sell these I would appreciate your opinions on them as I do not under any circumstances wish to offer anything for sale that is not ok
thanks for looking
andy

Unfortunately, there is damage to one side of the handle grip as can be seen. Is it worth trying to get this repaired or should I just sell it as it is?

Andy, They look good from the photos supplied. However would need detailed close-ups of the maker logos for better analysis.
I would leave the RAD Leader grip alone...

I believe tiep is .... correct. Frown
And what about the Rad Leader? Does the blade seem a bit Loose in the hilt. I don't like the missing "O" in Original. Have seen that on fakes from Austria. Blades are made from soft steel. Almost lead like material. I had one sent to me the thing broke in my hand!
Just got that bad Rad blade from my junk pile..
OH! -- Same bad Eickhorn logo! Eek
Sorry Andy. It's a fake! - My opinion only.
Will take photo and post.

hi
Thanks for the replies. To be honest, in my opinion the blades are definatley not soft steel.

I don't know if I should do this, but I have taken the handles off and taken some more pictures that perhaps will confirm if these are copies. Please let me have your opinions and thanks for the help so far
cheers
andy

Well here are some photos of a BAD Rad leader Eickhorn logo. I'm no expert on these. Maybe some of the other guys will comment.
Hope this helps. Smile

Im not sure with the RAD Hauer , but the blade and maker mark looks strange to me.
A very nice one is the Army dagger by Alcoso. This crossguard is the nicest army guard and typical Alcoso.

The tang on Andy's looks very well formed, not crude like Wagner's example of a RAD leader...
