hello, as a newcomer in this forum, I would like to seize the opportunity to show you a Officer Tunick in order to gather your appreciations. The tunick should be all right in my opinion but I'm much nore cautious with the insignas. Thank's in advance for your critical comments. Christian

need more interior shots of the tunic, I don't personally like any of the insignia, the eagle looks like a drunk chicken

Hello Chris and welcome to the forum. The tunic looks ok as you said.I cant tell with the collar tabs since they are angled sideways. The Eale is one of those that I associate with the "Carl Sieder" tags and have shown up on numerous tunics.Note the single strand of bullion on the legs lack of feet and the curved rather than zig zagged wing accents.IMO these are fakes however there has been suggestion that they my be late war.I stick with my gut feelings on them.

Hi Chris, when you get a chance would you please take the slip on boards off the tunic and lay them flat for a pic, it would help. I'm sorry but I would pass on the bullion sleeve eagle. Sonny

Those so called Carl Sieder sleeve eagles seem to pop frequently lately.

This tunic is a new one on my long list of tunics having these which totals over 40 officer tunics.I kept track of them and where they came from. All of them originated in Europe during the mid to late 90s.Does anyone think now that these are possibly original?

Thank to everybody, especially to John, for your opinion and appreciation. In fact all of the insignas seems appears to by fakes and only the tunick itselfs may be all right... At least, in this case, this forum gives you what you're looking for.
